You can't tease us like that and then leave us hanging. We want to know why you're the Shark's Tooth Capital of the World, and then we want to see some shark's teeth! LOL
Venice is known as the "Sharks Tooth Capital of the World" because you can scoop up a handful of sand and find sharks teeth almost every time. For some reason this area is absoulutely filled with sharks teeth. If you are a diver you can go out about 50 feet from the beach area and find prehistoric sharks teeth up to 5 inches or more in length. Even miles inland if you dig down 6 feet or more you can find huge prehistoric sharks teeth. My next post will be on Sharks Teeth!
